The room was dark, with crazy sounds disturbing the coder's mind. These sounds didn't come from the outside; they came from the lazy coder's head. He was about to resolve the biggest problem that coders could only imagine if he could calm his mind.
From the dark room, he could see the digital lights on the weight scales he was so afraid of. He could resolve any logical problem in the world, but not his own. He was battling his weight because he was too lazy. Then, suddenly, a thought came to his mind: What do lazy people do in the tech industry? They do DevOps!
The solution was right in front of his eyes! "I'm going to automate my diet," he thought.
But wait, how am I going to automate the pizza? He thought without hope.
Maybe he was lazy, but he was smart enough. He overcame the pizza problem by looking at the DevOps flow. So, if he wanted to succeed, he had to reconfigure the stages of his diet and include a workout or running plan in his most important pipeline – his life's pipeline.
He restructured the stages and implemented a new terminology. His strategy looked like this:
Self-prepare, Taste it, Burn it, Sleep, and Monitor his weight.
Every single day. In an automated way. He suddenly realized that he had to prepare the food himself, engage in some activity throughout the day, sleep well, and monitor his weight and health for any needed changes.
After just one year of practicing his most important pipeline, he was more focused, his earnings increased, and he was the happiest he had ever been!
With this short story, I would like to emphasize the importance of health and fitness in the tech industry and remind everyone that our health and life are the most important things we have. We won't be happy without healthy bodies and sharp minds.
Like everything in this world, we lose what we don't use. So, let this article be the beginning of something that will impact the health and fitness of all tech workers out there! Let's start a movement called DevFitOps because the most important pipeline you have is your life. Maintain it before it's too late.
